We will not be open for business for this coming Saturday, June 14, 2014. We are waiting for Mother Nature and the veggies to grow and ripen. All of the seedlings are planted and they are all doing just great. Now if we would get the weather to cooperate, we'd be all set.
We have had 3 very successful market days so far this season, beginning with May 24, 2014. We have enjoyed seeing old friends and meeting new ones. We have been pleased to provide our customers with a selection of early veggies from the greenhouses and value added items such as garlic dill pickles, tomato sauce, basil pesto, beautiful embroidered linen towels, pottery and delicious jams and jellies. We have heard rave reviews on our asparagus, romaine lettuce and cucumbers. Early sungold cherry tomatoes are just beginning to ripen. "You just can't beat the taste of real tomatoes!"
As the season progresses you will find a variety of produce available at Angel Wing Farm Stand. This is a list of some of what we have planted: strawberries, red & golden raspberries, rhubarb, asian pears, eggplant, bell peppers, jalapenos, tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, cilantro, dill, parsley, fennel, green beans, red onions, yellow onions, green onions, red & golden beets, kale, broccoli, cabbage, rainbow Swiss chard, romaine and bibb lettuce, butternut squash, spaghetti squash, yellow summer squash, zucchini, watermelon, garlic, cut flowers, and quinoa. We will also have biochar available for purchase.
We will keep you posted as to when the farm stand will be open on a regular basis. Send us your email address at firstname.lastname@example.org, if you would like to be on our email list that receives weekly updates from the farm. ~Carol~
